Wholesale Ordering & Delivery Policy

Australorp Farm is a small-scale, harvest-based agricultural operation serving local markets, community food distribution programs, and select wholesale buyers. To maintain freshness, product quality, and reliable scheduling, all wholesale orders are managed according to the following policies.

 

WHOLESALE AVAILABILITY

All produce is subject to seasonal availability, harvest conditions, and crop quality. Availability may vary weekly based on weather, production volume, and harvest timing.

Australorp Farm reserves the right to adjust quantities based on harvest conditions to maintain product quality standards.

 

ORDER SUBMISSION DEADLINES

Wholesale orders must be submitted a minimum of 48 hours prior to the requested delivery date.

Current wholesale delivery days are:

  • Tuesday

  • Thursday

Orders submitted after the deadline may be moved to the next available delivery date.

 

ORDER CONFIRMATION

Submission of a wholesale request does not guarantee product availability.

All orders are considered confirmed only after direct confirmation from Australorp Farm regarding:

  • Product availability

  • Quantity availability

  • Delivery scheduling

Harvesting and packing are scheduled based on confirmed orders only.

 

DELIVERY WINDOW

Wholesale deliveries are currently scheduled between:

4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Australorp Farm will communicate any significant delivery delays or scheduling changes as early as possible.

 

MINIMUM WHOLESALE ORDERS

A minimum wholesale order amount may apply depending on delivery location and product volume.

Minimums may vary based on:

  • Delivery distance

  • Product type

  • Seasonal availability

 

PRODUCT QUALITY

Australorp Farm harvests and packs produce to maintain freshness and quality during transport and delivery.

Products are generally delivered field-cleaned and unwashed unless otherwise arranged.

Customers are encouraged to inspect products upon delivery and report any quality concerns within 24 hours of receipt.

 

RESTOCKING / CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to the perishable nature of agricultural products, cancelled wholesale orders may be subject to a restocking or harvest recovery fee.

The following cancellation terms apply:

  • Orders cancelled more than 48 hours prior to delivery: No fee

  • Orders cancelled within 24–48 hours of delivery: May be subject to a partial restocking fee

  • Orders cancelled after harvest, packing, or delivery preparation has begun: May be subject to up to 50% of the order total

Custom harvests or specialty crop requests may be non-refundable once harvest preparation has started.

Australorp Farm reserves the right to evaluate cancellations on a case-by-case basis.

 

WEATHER / FARM CONDITIONS

As a working agricultural operation, unforeseen weather conditions, pest pressure, environmental factors, or infrastructure limitations may occasionally affect harvest schedules and product availability.

Australorp Farm will communicate any major changes or interruptions as early as possible.

 

WHOLESALE INQUIRIES

Businesses, food hubs, restaurants, and community organizations interested in wholesale purchasing may submit inquiries through the Wholesale Request Form.  You will receive a wholesaler access password within 1 business day of form receipt.
