About the Farm

Australorp Farm is a small-scale agricultural operation based in Sacramento County, California, focused on growing fresh, high-quality herbs and seasonal vegetables using practical, soil-centered methods. The veteran owned farm was developed with the intention of building a sustainable and scalable system that prioritizes consistency, product quality, and direct connection to the community.

What began as a backyard growing space has evolved into an active production farm with established growing beds, irrigation systems, and a greenhouse for propagation. Current crops include culinary and medicinal herbs, seasonal greens, and fruits.  All products are grown and harvested by the farm and sold directly through local distribution channels and farmers markets.

Australorp Farm is a Certified California Producer, verified by the Sacramento County Agricultural Commissioner. This certification ensures that all products sold are grown by the farm and meet state requirements for direct agricultural sales. The farm products are naturally grown and uses no synthetic pesticides.  

 

The farm is currently expanding beyond its initial production site. Additional land in Modoc County, California, is being developed to increase growing capacity and support long-term agricultural production. This expansion will allow the farm to scale responsibly while maintaining the same level of care and quality in its products.​
